In this post I’m going to show you how to get signed to a rap label which can be a hard thing if you don’t know what you’re doing.

1. The first thing you want to do it get shows with the big names in your city and even national rappers is possible. If your stuff is good you will pick up some new fans and get to show industry people that you deserve a deal too.
2. Create a buzz using social media and promotions through your mailing list. One great trick is to ask your fans to comment and vote for your videos on YouTube to push them up to the front page. A&R men from rap labels are always looking at what is buzzing on these websites to try and be the first on a hot new act.
