Music Festival Marketing Plan

If you’re thinking of putting on a small to medium sized festival this year you will a need a simple music festival marketing plan to make sure that you sell all the tickets and get people through the gates.

  1. The first thing to do is work out your budget.
  2. Press and advertising – contact magazines and radio stations to get a price list for advertising and then send them your ad design with enough time to get people buying tickets a months in advance.
  3. Buy ads on Google for keywords like “Festival UK” of “Open air concert USA”.
  4. Social media – set up a Facebook and Twitter  page for your festival and post news everyday.
