In the post I’m going to give you a national music marketing check list so that when things start to get bigger you can reach out and spread your message to a wider audience around the cournty:
- Tour bus (That works!!!) – if you want to go national you need to have transport. I suggest you hire a bus at first and make sure it looks like a nice place to be for hours on end with your smelly band. Also consider getting a driver.
- National PR – the person who will promote your shows to the local press long before you ever get to the town.
- National radio plugger – Like the PR person you also need someone to get you local radio coverage.
The main thing is that if you have a gig booked all the way across the country you want to make sure folks will be there. Get your promo stuff done first.
Have a good trip
