If you really want to have a music promotion career you might be in for a hard slog and not to much payback for a few years, but once you really make it things can get very exciting and the rewards are things like a great salary and invites to some really amazing events and parties.

Below are my two favorite music promotions jobs:
Radio and TV plugger – this is where you build contacts with key people in the industry and get your act a spot on the shows.
Gig promoter – you can start off with local bands and smaller venues and then move onto national acts and festivals.
