Music promotion work can be great fun if you’re into music and have a good knowledge of local bands who can pull in a crowd. Below is a check list for your first show.
- Book a cool venue on either Thursday, Friday or Saturday. (These are the best days for a show even if you have to pay the venue.)
- Contact the booking agent for three cool bands who have a good following.
- Send out your contract.
- Use google AdWords to promote your show.
- Make flier and give them out at the venue on other gig nights.
If you do all that your first promotion should go well and you soon might be able to turn music promotion in a career.
